School of Rock is a musical about Dewey Finn, a struggling rock musician who pretends to be a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school to earn money, only to discover his fifth-graders' hidden musical talents. He forms them into a secret rock band to compete in the Battle of the Bands, teaching them self-expression while falling for the uptight headmistress and helping the children find their own voices, all while hiding the scheme from school officials.

Matilda the Musical is an adaptation of Roald Dahl’s book about a brilliant young girl with telekinetic powers who uses her wit to overcome abusive parents and a cruel headmistress, Miss Trunchbull. Matilda finds refuge in books and in her kind teacher, Miss Honey, eventually using her powers to secure a better life, liberating the school, and changing her own destiny.
